Sustainability
Keeping fashion sustainable, so clothes get worn again instead of wasted.
01
I explore the intersection of art, design and human behaviour. Inspired by behavioural science and visual storytelling, I translate identity, perception and emotion into meaningful visual forms.

The Wardrobe Exchange (WEX) is a subscription-based clothing swap platform made exclusively for university students.
Built for students at the University of Birmingham, WEX makes it easy to get new outfits without spending much or adding to fashion waste.
Students always want a fresh look, and the wardrobe never feels new for long.
Cheap, fast clothing piles up as waste long after it has gone out of style.
On a student budget, buying something new every time is rarely an option.
Make accessing new outfits affordable, convenient and sustainable for students.
For £7 per month, users can:
Swaps happen locally with other verified students, with no item pricing or transaction fees.

Overall, WEX was a success.
In its first month and a half, Instagram brought in thousands of views, and more than half of them came from people who did not follow WEX yet. The website did its job of sending people on to the app. The research also showed what to do next.

Reels expand our reach to non-followers the best, and sponsorships and events boost engagement (Wilder fight night).
App engagement will improve once we have a real, useful app that we advertise directly on social media.
Trialled app features show promise for expert-led, mobile app development.

About
My work is driven by curiosity, blending behavioural insight with artistic expression to create pieces that invite reflection, emotion and connection.
With a background in Human Science, my practice explores the relationship between human behaviour, identity and visual communication. I am interested in how people perceive, connect with and find meaning through design, and I use research and creativity to shape thoughtful visual experiences.
Away from the desk I have rowed at national level, sailed around the world and run a half marathon.
